About Me
No. 01Profile
Data that empowers communities.
A profile of a data strategist, educator, and storyteller whose path to data began with history and policy.

I'm a data strategist with 6+ years of experience leading analytics and data-driven initiatives across government, nonprofits, and health research. I currently teach data science and AI at America on Tech, and I hold a Master's in Business Analytics and Data Science from IE University in Madrid.
My path to data has been nonlinear. I studied history and political science at Union College, and I was first introduced to data during a term in Washington, D.C., interning at Public Citizen, where I tracked U.S. senators' stock trades to evaluate the STOCK Act. But it wasn't until early in my career, after graduating, that I began working closely with technology and saw firsthand how data could drive organizational change and decision-making.
Since then, I've used data and technology to empower communities, whether that's disaggregating data to show who programs are reaching and who they're missing, teaching new tools to the next generation of data scientists, designing data collection that includes people who don't speak English, or building dashboards that put data directly into the hands of the people making decisions.
